SCO: update default roles

The standard content is extended in this release to make more features and processes available to the Planning Engine participating and viewer roles, as well migrating some processes to the Planning Engine administrator role.

This feature affects the following roles:

  • Planning Engine Main System Administrator (IBP_AP_SystemsAdmin)
  • Planning Engine Participating user (IBP_AP_Normal)
  • Planning Engine Read-only user (IBP_AP_Viewer)
  • SCV Main System Administrator (IBP_SCV_SystemsAdmin) - removal of some Planning Engine processes.
  • Supply Planning Participating user in the Supply module (IBP_SPLS_SupplyNormal) - removed from SP_SCO Planning Engine definition.
  • Supply Planning Administrator user in the Supply module (IBP_SPLS_SupplyAdmin) - removed from SP_SCO Planning Engine definition.
  • Supply Planning Participating user in the Process module (IBP_SPLS_ProcessNormal) - removed from SP_SCO Planning Engine definition.
  • Supply Planning Administrator user in the Process module (IBP_SPLS_ProcessAdmin) - removed from SP_SCO Planning Engine definition.
  • Supply Planning Main System Administrator (IBP_SPLS_SystemsAdmin) - removed from SP_SCO Planning Engine definition.

The standard Supply Chain Optimization Planning Engine definition (SP_SCO) is updated to include the participating and viewer roles (IBP_AP_Normal, IBP_AP_Viewer). This determines default access to Planning Engines created from this PE definition. Additionally, roles related to Supply Planning are removed.

The SCV - APSCO Prepare Profile All macro is updated to extend access to IBP_AP_SystemsAdmin:

  • Role assignments for standard configuration entities are updated after loading the Planning Engine SCO template (apsco.zip) for this version.
  • Users assigned to default Planning Engine roles benefit from additional access.
