Data Lake data source marked as deprecated

SCP provides access to Infor Data Lake using two data source connection types, Data Lake and Data Lake Compass.

Data sources of Data Lake connection type use the JDBC driver version 1.0. This driver is going to be discontinued, hence the SCP data source connections using this driver are now marked as deprecated. The Data Lake connection is to be removed from SCP in the next feature release (2023.x).

Data sources using Data Lake Compass connections remain unchanged. All functionality available in Data Lake are also available in Data Lake Compass, also offering additional query capabilities on Infor Data Lake. All implementations, wherein the Data Lake connection is used, are expected to migrate to using Data Lake Compass connections.

Note: By default, this feature is enabled. A new role or privilege is not required to access this feature.
