Planning Engine: Display Preferences for plan sheets

Users can now personalize the attribute to display resources and periods in plan sheets.

A section Planning Engine is added to Settings > Display Preferences, accessible from the application toolbar, with three additional options to set the display attribute for planning engine Resource, Property and Period. Users can define these preferences separately to existing settings for Analysis Cycles.

If Resource, Period and Property Attributes for Planning Engine have no value, after upgrade the new attributes default to the user's settings for attributes in the Analysis Cycle. The following values are set by default:

  • Planning Engine Resource Attribute = Analysis Cycle Item Attribute.
  • Planning Engine Period Attribute = Analysis Cycle Period Attribute.
  • Planning Engine Property Attribute = Analysis Cycle Measure Attribute.
Note: If "Extended Description", this is translated as "Description".

This maintains similar behavior upon upgrade.

For new users added to SCP, these defaults are applied:

  • Resource Attribute = Description
  • Period Attribute = Period Label
  • Property Attribute = Description
Note: 
  • This feature is available on upgrade. You are not required a new role or privilege access to use this feature.
  • The display preference setting for property has no impact on this version, only property names are available. Any modification to display preferences to Property is ignored. Extending Planning Engine properties by adding descriptions is planned for a later release, which utilizes the Property Attribute.
