View Process Overview worksheets

The Process Overview worksheet is a specific embedded report that is based on the cycle process and the related process calendar events for the cycle period. The worksheet is directly linked to an associated workflow.

To view the worksheet, select a standard worksheet for which the report source is Embedded and the report type is Process Overview, in the respective module. The events within the cycle process for the currently selected cycle period is displayed in the Task view.
Note: The current step of the process (based on the rv_this_step parameter for the worksheet definition) is highlighted. If the rv_this_step parameter is not defined, the first process step in the list is highlighted.

When you click a process in the calendar, the Event Details window displays the related details, the links to the workflow, and the relevant worksheets or actions for the process, defined in the rv_tasks parameter on the Configuration screen:

  • Name: The name of the selected event.
  • Current Event: Indicates, if the selected Event is the current Event.
  • Start Date: The date on which the selected Event begins.
  • End Date: The date on which the selected Event concludes.
  • Due Date: The due date by which the selected Event must be completed.
  • Alert Date: The date on which the alert is received to start or complete the selected Event.
  • View Workflow Diagram link: The link(s) to the workflow diagram for the selected process. The link(s) determines the worksheets and actions associated with the event, based on the rv_tasks parameter.
    Note:
    • If no task is defined, no link is displayed.
    • If the link is not a worksheet but a deep link (that is a link to specific data), the process defined for the same is used.

When you select a task, the related worksheet data is displayed in a worksheet view. If a multi-panel is selected, all the worksheets related to the multi-panel are displayed based on the multi-panel definition.

These are the options available on the worksheet toolbar:

  • Refresh: Updates the process calendar and consequently also updates the changes to the event status.
  • Edit Worksheet Parameters: Allows you to modify the worksheet parameters for the process worksheet.
  • Expand to Fit Window or Restore to normal size: Applicable only for the Multi-panel view.
