Defining SCV Application Default attribute
Use this page to create and maintain attributes for SCV Application Defaults.

Select Configuration > SCV > Application Default. The list of all attributes that are defined is displayed.
Note: You must have SCV Application Defaults – View (configuration) permission to view this page.

Click New. The Attribute
Details window is displayed.
Note: You must have SCV Application Defaults – Add (configuration) permission to add new defaults.
- Specify this information:
- Category
- The category for which the SCV Application Default is assigned.
- Profile
- The name of the profile associated with the target SCP application instance.
- Type
- Indicates the type of attribute for which the SCV Application Default is defined. Possible values:

- Class Property: The Class field is displayed.
- Planning Engine Variable
- SCV Table Column
- Other
- Class
- The name of the target class for which the SCV Application Default attribute is
defined.Note:
- This field is displayed if Type is set to Class Property, Planning Engine Variable, or Other.
- If the Type is set to Planning Engine, this value is set to None and disabled for edit.
- Property
- The name of the class property for which the SCV Application Default is
defined.Note: This field is displayed only if Type is set to Class Property.
- Variable
- The name of the planning engine variable for which the SCV Application Default
is defined.Note: This field is displayed only if Type is set to Planning Engine Variable.
- Table
- The name of the target SCV table for which the SCV Application Default is
defined.Note: This field is displayed if Type is set to SCV Table Column.
- Column
- The name of the SCV table column for which the SCV Application Default is
defined.Note: This field is displayed only if Type is set to SCV Table Column.
- Attribute
- The name of the class attribute for which the SCV Application Default is
defined.Note: This field is displayed if Type is set to Other.
- Description
- The description of the SCV Application Default attribute.
- Data Type
- Indicates the type of data. Possible values:
- Text
- Number
- date
- Boolean
- Default Value
- The default value assigned to the SCV Application Default attribute.
- Override Value
- An optional value that the user can define to override the default value.
- System
- Indicates if the variable definition is system defined or user defined.
Note: You can modify the values of the Data Type and Override Value fields for system defined attributes. -
Click Save. A new SCV Application
Default attribute is created after successful validation of the specified
information. See Validation of SCV Application
Default attribute.
Note: You can use this page to:
- Create a duplicate of the existing SCV Application Default attribute and modify the parameters as required using the Duplicate option.
- Delete SCV Application Default attribute using the Delete option. You must have SCV Application Defaults – Delete (configuration) permission to delete SCV Application Defaults.
- Copy SCV Application Default attribute from one profile to another profile using the Copy By Profile option.
- Modify existing Application Default attribute. You must have SCV Application Defaults – Edit (configuration) permission to modify SCV Application Defaults.
