Defining SCV Business Plans

Business plans are used to define exporting rules for plans published by SCP applications to SCV Core plan tables.

To create a new business plan:

  1. Select Configuration > SCV > Business Plans. The Business Plans screen is displayed.
  2. Click New. The Details tab is displayed.
  3. Specify this information on the Details tab:
    Name
    The name of the SCV business plan.
    Description
    The description of the SCV business plan.
    Note: If this value is not specified, the value specified for the Name field is considered.
    Enabled
    Indicates the status of the business plan. Possible values:
    • On (Active)
    • Off (Inactive)
    Note: By default, the value is set to On.
    System
    Indicates if the business plan is system defined or user defined. Possible values:
    • On (System defined)
    • Off (User defined)
    Note: You cannot modify this field.
    Production Plan
    Indicates if the business plan includes a production plan.
    Note: 
    • If this option is set to On, the Production tab is displayed.
    • By default, the value is set to Off.
    Transfer Plan
    Indicates if the business plan includes a transfer plan.
    Note: 
    • If this option is On, the Transfer tab is displayed.
    • By default, the value is set to Off.
    Purchase Plan
    Indicates if the business plan includes a purchase plan.
    Note: 
    • If this option is On, the Purchase tab is displayed.
    • By default, the value is set to Off.
    Sales Plan
    Indicates if the business plan includes a sales plan.

    • If this option is On, the Sales tab is displayed.
    • By default, the value is set to Off.
  4. Click the Production tab. This tab lists all production plans included in the Business Plan, sorted by sequence in ascending order.

  5. Click the Purchase tab. This tab lists all purchase plans included in the Business Plan, sorted by sequence in ascending order.

  6. Click the Transfer tab. This tab lists all transfer plans included in the Business Plan, sorted by sequence in ascending order.

  7. Click the Sales tab. This tab lists all sales plans included in the Business Plan, sorted by sequence in ascending order.

  8. Click Save. The new business plan is saved after successful validation.
    Note: You can use this screen to:
    • Create a duplicate of the existing business plan and modify the parameters as required using the Duplicate option.
    • Delete existing business plans using the Delete option.
