Validation and execution
The selected scenario is copied based on the specified source scenario, on successful
validation and execution of the macro.
These steps are processed during the macro execution:
- All data from the source scenario is copied to the new scenario.
- The display name of the new scenario is set to Null.
- If the status of the cycle period is not set to Running, the macro fails to execute.
This table lists the status of the supported cycle period and scenario for which the macro
can be executed:

Validation is performed when you execute the CopyScenario macro. If validation fails, the macro execution is stopped, and the related error message is reported in the audit log and job manager.
