Overriding a SCV Table Group

You can override the data specified in the Group Tables tab using the Overrides tab. The Overrides tab is enabled only if System is set to On and lists all the exceptions to the table group definition.

To override an existing system table group:

  1. Select Configuration > SCV > Tables > Groups.
  2. Double click a row to override the table.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Click Add in the Tables section of the Overrides tab to add a new table. The Tables window is displayed.
  5. Specify this information in the Tables window:
    Table Name
The name of the SCV table defined in the SCV registry to override.
    Processing Sequence
A positive integer that indicates the sequence in which the table is processed in the table group.
    Note:
    • If you override an existing table, the new table overrides the existing table in the original definition.
    • If you specify this value for one table, the values must be defined for all tables in the original table and the tables specified in the overrides.
    • The Table Group must not contain a duplicate processing sequence.
    Exclude
If this value is set On, the specified table is excluded from the original table group.
Note: This option is enabled only if the selected table is available in the original table group.
  6. Click Add. The new table group is created, and the override details are added in the Overrides tab.
Note: The new overrides must be saved and only be overwritten by template load when:
    • System is set to Off.
    • System is set to On, and User Definition is included in the template.
    • Template Setting UPDATE_USER_OVERRIDES = True.
  7. Click Save. The override details are updated after the successful validation of the specified information.
