Cycle processes overview

Cycle process definitions are used to control the default events that occur in each cycle period. Each defined event is based on a workflow created in the ION Desk.

A cycle process can be linked to a cycle (definition). The Cycle definition contains the calendar details. When a cycle period is created, the cycle period calendar with the cycle process creates a process calendar which contain:

• A list of cycle process calendar events for a particular cycle period.
• The dates for the cycle process events to be executed.
