Defining cycles - Data Security Rules tab
The Data Security Rules tab lists all Data
Security Rule applicable for the cycle.
You must specify this information to add a new data security rule:
- Name
- A unique name of the data security rule.
- Display Name
- The name that is displayed for the data security rule.
- Module
- The module for which the data security rule created.
- Cycle Period Type
- Determines if the access type of the users or roles assigned to this data
security rule. Possible options:
- All defined cycle periods for the selected cycle and module.
- Current running cycle period
- Users
- The name of the user(s) to whom the data security rule is applicable.
- Roles
- The role name(s) for which the data security rule is applicable.
- Item Node
- The items to which this data security rule allows access.
- Location Node
- The locations to which this data security rule allows access.
- Calendar
- The calendar periods in which this data security rule allows access.
