Defining cycles - Business Metrics tab
The Business Metrics tab lists all the business metrics for the cycle.
You must click ‘’ and specify this information to
add a new business metric:
- Name
- A unique name of the business metric.
- Module
- The module in which the business metric is defined.
- Measure Code
- The enabled or calculated measure defined for the cycle based on which the business metric is defined. The measure values are displayed based on the module selected.
- Automatically Update Business Metric After saving Scenario Changes
- Indicates if the value defined for the business metric is automatically
updated when a scenario is saved.Note: By default, this value is set to Off.
- Item Node
- The item node defined for the business metric.Note:
- The list of primary and additional item hierarchy nodes that are defined for the current cycle is displayed.
- You can select the nodes individually or the top hierarchy level name.
- Location Node
- The location node defined for the business metric.Note: You can select the nodes individually or the top hierarchy level name.
- Calendar
- The calendar node defined for the business metric.Note: You can select the nodes individually or the top hierarchy level name.
You can use Business Metrics page to:
- Modify the parameters of the existing business metric by double clicking on the required row.
- Delete the existing business metric using the option.
