Data Lake Compass Driver (CA)

Data Lake (Compass) is now available in Data Sources as a new database connection type. With this new connection type, it is now possible to query the Infor Data Lake using the Compass Driver. Compass Driver enables users to execute complex queries on Infor Data Lake that involve joining multiple tables. As a result, it is now possible to apply mappings or transformations in Interface Services and import data directly to SCV Inbox tables.

Data Lake hints are now available in Interface Services when Data Lake (Compass) is selected as the connection type for the underlying data source.

A new Data Lake (Compass) data source is delivered as a part of the base template. An SCP user must be specified when querying the Infor Data Lake, although this value is not used or validated currently by Infor Data Lake. Once the base template is loaded, the Data Lake (Compass) data source must be modified to specify a valid SCP user from the available list of users. If no user is specified in the data source definition, a runtime error is generated.

Data source with connection Data Lake (Compass) is invalid, User is not configured or cannot be found.

In this controlled release, it is possible to execute queries with joins on the Data Lake tables to perform a full load into the target SCV table.

By default, this feature is enabled, however a default Data Lake (Compass) connection is included after loading the base template (base.zip) for this version. No additional role or privilege is required to access this feature.
