Import of Resource capacities using shift pattern and shift details

New interface services are added to access Resource capacities calculated by the new SCV process. This is an enhancement to the existing resource capacity process.

The spls_use_shifts_for_capacity_calendar (Use the Shift Definitions for Resource Capacity Calendars) application variable is added to control use of the new interfaces.

These interfaces are added:

  • SPLS - SCV -Import Resources Period Measures Conversion - Capacity (SHIFT)
  • SPLS - SCV -Import Resources Period Measures Conversion - Efficiency (SHIFT)

These interfaces source the capacity and efficiency data from SCV using SC_RESOURCE_SHIFT_CAPACITY.

The Supply - Import Scenario macro is updated.

Availability Calendar, used by the existing process to calculate the resource capacities, is still supported. This sources data from SCV using SC_RESOURCE_CALENDAR.

The application variable Default Value = 0, maintaining existing behavior on upgrade.

This feature is available after appending the supply planning template (spls.zip) for this version. Users can enable the new process by setting the spls_use_shifts_for_capacity_calendar (Use the Shift Definitions for Resource Capacity Calendars) application variable to 1.
