Backup and restore a model now possible in CloudSuite SCP

Options to create a manual backup, as well as the automation and scheduling of backups, of models is now available in CloudSuite SCP. Therefore, the model management functionality is available in On-Premise and Cloud deployments and is accessible from a browser using CloudSuite SCP.

This is a new feature for CloudSuite SCP, migrating capabilities available in the Production Scheduling client.

In the Production Scheduling client, it is still possible to create a backup of a model in the model maintenance screen. This backup may not have an expiration date. The macro action “File.Backup” is supported. This macro action creates a backup with an expiration of 14 days.

Functions to Backup Model, Restore Model and Delete Backup in CloudSuite SCP each carry a new permission. The default administrator role: Production Scheduling Main System Administrator has these permissions applied after appending the base template (base.zip) for this version.

Note: By default, this feature is enabled.
