Editing cycles
To edit a cycle:
- Select Configuration > Cycle > Cycles.

You can execute one of these actions:
Option Description Edit To edit an existing cycle, click the appropriate Details icon. Duplicate To create a new cycle based on an existing cycle, select the appropriate cycle, and click Duplicate. You can also:Option Description Defining cycles To edit existing fields, see, Defining cycles. New Click New on the Scenarios tab of the details pane to add a new planning scenario to be used in the cycle. Delete Click Delete on the Scenarios tab of the details pane to delete a planning scenario. New Click New on the Additional Planning Hierarchies tab of the details pane to add a new planning hierarchy to be used in the cycle. Delete Click Delete on the Additional Planning Hierarchies tab of the details pane to delete a planning hierarchy. Rolling Periods Add, change, or delete rolling periods on the Rolling Periods tab of the details pane. New Click New on the Additional Pivot Attributes tab of the details pane to add a new pivot attribute to be used in the cycle. Delete Click Delete on the Additional Pivot Attributes tab of the details pane to delete an additional pivot attribute. Add Notes On the Note Options tab of the details pane, select the appropriate Force Add Note check boxes and specify your default note data to add default notes for specific actions during the cycle. Delete Notes On the Note Options tab of the details pane, clear the Force Add Note check boxes in the Saving Scenario Changes and Recalculating Worksheets panes respectively to delete the default notes. - Click Submit. The modifications made to a cycle definition are available, until the start of the next cycle period.
