Mappings tab

The Mappings tab displays the market intelligence fields to be mapped between SCP and the external application for the specified interface service.
The parameters related to the Market Intelligence fields:
Dimension Description
The name of the Market Intelligence data fields in SCP to be mapped.
Attribute
The characteristic value of the specified dimension which relates to an attribute in the base-level code list the dimension.
Note: 
  • This field is displayed only if the Interface Direction field is set to Export.
  • If not specified, the default code list element name is used.
  • You can define attribute for Item and Location fields only.
Filed Label
The label of the field in the interface service (CSV or EXCEL)/external database (Database) to be mapped to the specified dimension.
Note: 
  • For a CSV or EXCEL interface service, specify a value greater than or equal to zero.
  • For a Database interface service, specify the required column in the Source Table or Query.
This table lists the Market Intelligence fields available for mapping. By default, all the fields are displayed on the grid. However, you can add, modify or delete the required fields.
Field Name Description
Item The item id. This field cab be used multiple times for different attributes during the Export process.
Location The location id. This field cab be used multiple times for different attributes during the Export process.
Start Date This is mapped to the start date of first bucket
End Date This is mapped to the last date of last bucket.
Value Indicates positive (+ve) or negative (-ve) value.
Spread Measure

This value is populated with Measure name that is used for spreading. If not specified, the default spread measure defined for MI Definition is used.

This field and Use Spread Measure for Period Spread are mutually inclusive
Use Spread Measure for Period Spread Determines the Spread measure to be used for period spreading. Possible options:
  • Yes: The Spread Measure defined for the interface is used.
  • No: The Spread Measure defined for Cycle Period is used.
  • Null: The MI definition is used to determine the spread measure for period. By default, the Spread Measure is set to Null.
If Spread Measure is specified, this is a mandatory field.
Note Type If defined, the related fields such as Priority and Summary, Include in Playbook must be specified.
Priority If Note Type populated Priority is required and must be populated.
Summary If Note Type populated Summary is required and must be populated.
Include in Playbook Populate with Yes/No. If not populated = No (If Note Type not populated field is ignored)
Note Details If Note Type not populated field is ignored
Post to Mingle This is applicable for Interface type Import.
Group

This field is required if Post to Mingle is populated.

This is applicable for Interface type Import.
Reference This is additional text used as reference
ID This field is applicable only for Interface type Export.
