Creating users and assigning roles

  1. Log in as the system or IT administrator.
  2. Select Navigation Menu > User Management.
  3. Click Create Users.
  4. Specify the following fields:
    User ID
    The identifying username of the user.
    Display Name
    The name of the user that displays in the user interface, such as in the Created By column. This field is optional with a default value of userID
    Caution: 
    It may take up to three minutes for the Display Name to take affect in Price Management after it is specified in User Management.
    Password
    The password for the user.
  5. Select a role from the Role Name list.
  6. Click Save. The user is automatically activated.
    Caution: 
    Price Management does not verify the user ID until the user’s initial log in. It can take up to three minutes for a new user to be fully activated in the system and for the user's permissions to take affect after it is created.
