Store management

Note: The functionality and features detailed in this section are linked to role permissions that can be granted and applied to any user. Even though a non-administrator can use these features, this guide assumes the end-user is a system or IT administrator. If a non-administrator is granted the role permissions to access these features, the steps and information in this section can still be applied.

Locations are managed by a location data file provided by the retailer and imported into the application. When a new store is set to open in your supply chain, it is automatically created with no corresponding price changes for any authorized items. In Store Management, you can copy an existing store's inventory and existing price changes to a new store location. For example, you are setting up a new retail location that carries similar items as an existing neighbor store. Instead of creating individual item price changes, you can copy the neighbor store's inventory and price changes to the new store all in one action.

Note: Each retailer is responsible for providing a location data file. The new store location must not have any existing item or price change details associated with it. At least one item must be authorized for the new store to perform a store price change/item transfer.
