Location override price priority

If you use Location Override to prioritize a price change at a location over other existing price changes, the application overrides the default Location Hierarchy. The application then uses a specific Location Hierarchy for price changes with Location Override set to Yes. The Location Hierarchy used for price changes with Location Override set is:
  1. Store with Location Override set to Yes
  2. Metro with Location Override set to Yes
  3. Region with Location Override set to Yes
  4. National with Location Override set to Yes

Then, the application uses the default Location Hierarchy:

  5. Store
  6. Metro
  7. Region
  8. National

For example, if a price change exists at store 101 in metro A, the application prioritizes the store-level price change over the metro price change. If you create a metro TPR price change with Location Override set to Yes, the application uses that metro-level price change as the in-effect price. When the metro-level TPR meets its End Date, the application returns to using the store-level price for store 101.
