Editing multiple price changes

You can edit price changes for multiple items at various location levels from the Edit Price Change Values page simultaneously. For example, to extend a TPR price change across multiple items and locations, you can edit the End Date for each item all at once.

Note: You can also use these steps to edit only one price change from Edit Price Change Values page.
  1. Select Navigation Menu > Price Change List.
  2. Search for the price change(s) using the Search Criteria fields. You can click Columns to configure your table view.
  3. Select the check boxes of the items you want to edit. The Action Bar is displayed.
  4. Click Edit from the Actions Bar. The Edit Price Change Values page is displayed with the editable fields.
Note: If you selected multiple items, you can click the "X values" text in the Current Value column to view the item IDs (where "X" is the number of items included in the edit).
  5. Specify a New Value for the attribute you are changing. The Edit Operator is defaulted to Change To.
Note: The Excluded Locations list field is displayed only if all the price changes you are editing in bulk have the same location.
  6. Click Save to save the price change in draft status, but not approve it. Click Save and Approve to process and approve the price change. If you are editing price changes:
    • With a Status of Draft, the Save button only is displayed.
    • With a Status of Approved, the Save and Approve button only is displayed.
If your edit includes Approved and Draft price changes, both the Save and Save and Approve buttons are displayed. If you click Save or Save and Approve for a price change with a Status of Approved, the price change is automatically re-approved.
  7. The Price Change List is displayed with a validation message once the price changes are successfully updated.
Note:  A green validation message is displayed for successfully created price changes. If a price change was created with an error or with a price conflict, an error validation message is displayed for that price change. You must resolve any validation errors that display to successfully submit the price changes. You can click the details of an error to learn how it can be resolved. Optionally, you can click the alerts in the Alerts column of the Price Change List to view the error details.
Note:  If validation errors occur after your edits due to a store or set of stores with a conflict, Price Management suggests to exclude these locations. You can click Apply Exclusions to add the conflicting locations as excluded locations and approve your changes for the valid stores. See Excluding locations from approving a price change with alerts.
