Configurable features

This table shows the features and functionality that can be enabled in Price Management:
Feature Description
Price Types Retailers can enable or disable different price types in applications and configure how they are displayed. These price change types can be enabled or disabled in the application:
  • Temporary price change (TPR)
  • Rewards price change (RWD)
  • Markdown price change (MKD)
The Regular (REG) price change type cannot be modified or removed from the application.
Price Prioritization Retailers can set how the application should prioritize different price types.
Location Hierarchy Retailers can configure their own location levels and hierarchy to be used in the application.
Product Hierarchy Retailers can configure their own product classes and hierarchy to be used in the application.
Price Business Rules Business rules can be enabled or disabled to run throughout the application. Business rules can also be enabled or disabled to run by price type. These business rule configurations can be setup during a deployment or implementation of the application:
Price Effectiveness
Indicates whether a price change can be approved for an item that is not effective in certain locations. If this rule is enabled, an alert is displayed when a price change has been approved but is not effective in certain locations.
Price Relationship
Indicates whether to enforce price type or relationship rules that are specific to each price type if they overlap. For example, If this rule is enabled, an alert is displayed when a TPR has a greater price than the REG price for the same item (since a TPR price must normally be less than the REG price).
No Endless During Provisional
Indicates whether you can create a price change with no end date, such as a REG price change, that starts during an existing TPR price change. If this rule is enabled, an alert is displayed when an endless price change starts in the middle of a provisional price change.
Was Override Price, Collateral, and Tag Expiration Date Custom configurable attributes. Not currently in use in the standalone application.
Previous Price Retailers can enable this feature to view the last in-effect price of an item before the current in-effect price started.
Purge Parameters Retailers can configure when records and data should be cleared.
Rules for applicable price types Retailers can configure whether to apply or enable business rules to run between price types. This is not available for all business rules.
Opening store suppression threshold Retailers can define the number of days before an unopened store's opening date the system can export price changes for that location downstream.
