Setting location override example

Your instance of Price Management is configured to prioritize the lowest location level first. You want to create a regular price change at the metro level that differs from the prices at the store level. You can use the Location Override functionality to override all the stores within a metro level to the same price.

  1. Select Navigation Menu toggle > Price Change List.
  2. Click Create Price Change.
  3. Specify the item and price change information. Select a location level for the price change at a higher location level than the price change you want to override. For example, to override prices at a store level, select a Hierarchy of Metro.
  4. Scroll to the Location Override column.
  5. Select Yes to override the conflicting price change at the lower level.
  6. Specify the additional required information for the price change.
  7. Click Save.
After the End Date for the price change is met, Price Management returns to using the prioritization logic for the prices at the lower levels.
