Approving price changes

You can approve existing price changes with a Status of Draft from the Price Change List . When you attempt to approve a price change, Price Management performs a price conflict check to validate the price change. If a price change cannot be approved because of a price conflict, the conflict must be resolved before the price change can be approved. For more information, see Resolving price conflicts.

Note: Administrators and users with the appropriate role can approve price changes.
  1. Select Navigation Menu toggle > Price Change List.
  2. Search for the price change(s) using the Search Criteria fields. You can click Columns to configure your table view.
  3. Select the price changes you want to approve. The Action Bar is displayed.
Note: You can only approve price changes with a Status of Draft.
  4. Click Approve from the Action Bar. The Price Change List is displayed with a validation message after the price changes are successfully approved.
Note: A green validation message is displayed for successfully approved price changes. If a price change has an error or a price conflict, a red validation message is displayed for that price change. You must resolve any validation errors that display to successfully approve the price changes. You can click the details of an error to learn how it can be resolved. Optionally, you can click the alerts in the Alerts column of the Price Change List to view the error details.
