External data

Price Management allows retailers to import external data that can be used in the user interface. Retailers can attach external data to specific items so that the data is displayed in the tables and windows in the application. The external data can be imported by a data feed. Retailers must work with the Infor Deliver team during implementation to configure external data.

Value-added tax (VAT)

The value-added tax (VAT) rate is a tax rate used that is calculated incrementally on a price of an item, product, or service. In Price Management, the VAT is attached to an item/location at a particular point in time. The VAT is imported into the application from a retailer-provided data feed and applied to a corresponding item. The VAT field then displays in the in the Price Change Details window on the Advanced Price Lookup page. The VAT cannot be set or changed in the application and is managed from the external data.

Current cost

The current cost represents the current cost data at an item/location intersection and is used for when the cost of an item changes. The current cost information is provided from an external data feed by the retailer and can be imported into the application. The Current Cost field displays in the Price Change Details window on the Advanced Price Lookup page. The current cost is attached to an item from the external data and cannot be changed in the application.
