This section presents new product features and enhancements to existing functionality included in this release of Price Management.

Add items by scan code (WFMPE-6606)

Updated the application so that users can now add an item to a price change by specifying an item's scan code instead of having to specify the item ID. Previously, users had to specify item IDs in order to add items to a price change, creating the potential issue if the item ID was unknown. Now, users can specify either the ID or the scan code on the Create Price Changes page to include items in a price change.

Archived price change status (WFMPE-6599, 6600)

Added an Archived status for both initial and non-initial REG price changes that are no longer active or in-effect. Previously, no longer in-effect price changes were incorrectly displayed with a Status of Active when a user searched the application for in-effect price changes. Now, a price change can be labeled a Status of Archived if:
  • It is no longer in-effect at any location within the supply chain.
  • It was originally approved but a subsequent price change was approved in its place so the original price change never becomes active.

Users can search for archived price changes, but archived price changes no longer display when a user searches the application for price changes with a different status, such as Active or Complete.
