Product enhancements

This section presents solution improvements and product enhancements to the existing functionality of Price Management included in this release.

Update to location override for store-level price changes (WFMPE-6714)

Updated the application so that users cannot set Location Override to Yes for store-level price changes. The Location Override functionality can only be enabled for price changes created at location levels higher than Store.

Updated TPRs/RWDs with missing Location Override values (WFMPE-6721)

Set the Location Override to No for TPR and RWD price changes with missing Location Override values prior to the 20.3 release (correcting an issue that occurred during the upgrade process). Previously, the application did not allow users to set the Location Override for non-REG price changes. Now, Location Override is a required field for TPR/RWD price changes, creating an issue where any TPR/RWD price changes created prior to the 20.3 release did not have a Location Override value specified.

Filtering both Region and Store in the Location column (WFMPE-6729)

Completed updates to the Location Hierarchy Filter within the Location column list in the Price Change List table (correcting an issue that prevented users from selecting both a Region and a Store from the list of options after the retailer upgraded to a new release of the application).

Performance improvement by removing archive logic during the same-day price change approval process (WFMPE-6732)

Modified the same-day and emergency price change approval process to no longer update price changes to the Archived status, improving overall performance of the approval process. Now, the archival process only runs during the nightly batch and price changes are kept Active until the nightly batch is run.
Note: Price changes in the future or with Start Dates in the future are not affected by this change.

Import template date format (WFMPE-6694)

Updated the import price change functionality so that a date format of "M/D/YYYY" can be used.

Displaying the applicable price change from Price Lookup (WFMPE-6695)

Updated Price Lookup so that when a user clicks Price Change from the Price Change Details window, the applicable price change is displayed in the Price Change List. Previously, when a user clicked Price Change from the Price Change Details window, the Search Criteria fields on the Price Change List were populated with the price change attributes but the user had to click Search to actually display the price change.

Price change upload updates (WFMPE-6737)

Completed updates to the price change upload process correcting an issue that prevented price change imports from being uploaded if Tag Expiration or custom attributes were specified in the spreadsheet that incorrectly added extra rows, making it look like more than 15k records existed in the import process.
