Managing price reason codes

You can maintain and delete existing price reason codes by editing them in-line in the price reason table on the Price Reason Management page. Default price reason codes are built-in and cannot be modified.
Caution: 
New price reasons may take up to three minutes to sync to the system. If a price reason code is still being processed, it cannot be deleted or modified until the synchronization process is completed. You must refresh the Price Reason Management page for the system to display the updated status for the synchronization process. You can view the Status column in the table to view the status of the price reason code.
  1. Log in as the system or IT administrator.
  2. Select Price Reason Management.
  3. Identify the price reason code you want to maintain from the price reason table.
  4. To edit a price reason code:
    1. Click the Edit icon in the Actions column. Editable columns are enabled.
    2. Click the Save icon in the Actions column. Optionally, click the Cancel icon to cancel your changes.
    The changes are reflected in the table on the Price Reason Management page.
  5. To delete a price reason code:
    1. Click the Delete icon in the Actions column.
    Note: You cannot delete a price reason code that is currently in use.
    The price reason code is removed from the table on the Price Reason Management page and is removed from the user interface.
    Note:  Records of deleted price reason codes still exist in the Audit Price Changes page.
