Value-added tax API

Added the ability to accept value-added tax (VAT) information into Price Management. Added the ability to use ION to import and organize VAT data into the back-end of the system. The VAT rate information is held at the item/location level. Users can view VAT tax information for an item/location on the Advanced Price Lookup page. This functionality lays the groundwork for future enhancements and features. (WFMPE-5339)

Note: This feature can be enabled during the initial configuration of the product. The application does not validate that the tax rate information is correct and the retailer must account for the tax rates.

Markdown price type

Added the ability to create and maintain a Markdown (MKD) price change. MKD now displays as a Price Type option when creating a new price change. A MKD price type allows retailers the ability reduce the price of an item without adding an End Date. For example, a retailer may create a markdown price to move inventory close to the end of its selling life. See the Infor Retail Price Management User Guide for more information. (WFMPE-5654)
