Creating a pricing strategy (BAR Level Recommendation)

  1. Select Strategy Hub > Strategy Control. The Strategy Control screen is displayed.
  2. Select the Pricing Strategies section.
  3. Click + Create New Strategy. The New Pricing Strategy screen is displayed.
  4. Specify this information:
    Name
    The unique name of the strategy.
    Description
    The description for the strategy.
    Color
    The color that is used to highlight the strategy.
    Applicable To
    The days for which the strategy is applicable. By default, all the check boxes are selected.
    Start From
    The existing pricing strategy that is used as a template for the new strategy.
  5. Expand the required BAR level in the Optimization Control tab. The room type details are displayed.
  6. Specify this information:
    Price 1 Adult
    The price for one adult.
    Price 2 Adults
    The price for 2 adults.
    Note: 

    The columns in the Optimization Control tab are displayed based on the number of guests configured for the default pricing strategy. For example, if the value in the Additional Guest Supplements field is set to 1 adult, 2 adult, 3 adult, extra child, the respective columns are displayed.

  7. Select Save. The pricing strategy is created.
