Rate Categories
The Rate Categories screen shows the defined rate categories for the
property.

Each rate category shows these default columns:
- Order: Select and hold the dots to move up or down the grid.
- Rate Category: Rate category name in the RMS.
- Description: Short description of the rate category.
- Yieldable: Shows whether the rate category is yieldable or not. Non-yieldable rate categories can include bookings that cannot be rejected because of agreements in place.
- Group: Shows whether the rates in a rate category are used for group bookings.
- Direct: Shows whether the rates in a rate category are direct rates or sold by a third party.
- Rate Class: Rate class to which the rate category is mapped to.
- Publish (interface X, Y, Z): Indicates whether the rate category is marked for publishing to that interface.
- Color: Representative color of the dimension, typically for charts and widgets.Note: Default colors are applied where possible. A red line on a white background indicates that no default color is applied.
Each grid column has search and filter options. You can select more (···) on the grid to personalize columns or reset filters.
