Testing the template

You can send a test version of custom templates to any email address. If you use placeholder variables in the content, the variables are replaced with the values that were used the last time the template was sent.

You cannot send a test version of pre-designed templates.

  1. Select a notification type.
  2. Navigate to the Custom Templates tab.
  3. On the row of the template that you intend to test, click the ellipsis button in the Action column then click View.
  4. Click the Send Test Email button next to the Duplicate button.
  5. Specify the email address of the recipient. You can specify one email address.
  6. Click Send.
