Module and Feature Usage

Use the Module and Feature Usage page to view how Rhythm modules and features are used in your tenant. The page shows the daily usage metrics collected for each module, feature, and action, and shows whether those metrics were already pushed to Infor User Analytics (IUA).
Note: Only the modules and features that are enabled for usage tracking are displayed on this page. Additional modules and features are included in later releases.

To view the Module and Feature Usage page, you must have the RHYTHM-ModuleAndFeatureUsageAdministrator or Infor-SystemAdministrator assigned to your user in Infor OS Portal. If the role is not assigned, the Module and Feature Usage admin is not displayed in the navigation including Rhythm Services Dashboard, and opening the page directly redirects you to an Access Denied page. No usage data is retrieved.

These information are displayed in the table:
  • Module Name: The name of the Rhythm module where the feature belongs, for example, Artificial Intelligence.
  • Feature Name: The name of the feature that was used. The feature name is retrieved from Feature Enablement, so it always matches the name that is displayed on the Feature Enablement page.
  • Action: The specific interaction that was performed on the feature. A separate row is displayed for each action recorded for a module, feature, and date combination, and each row shows the count for that action only.
  • Metric Type: The type of metric that is tracked for the feature. The value can be COUNTER, GAUGE, or BOTH.
  • Usage Date: The date when the usage was recorded.
    • Current date: The metrics are still being collected and the counts can still increase during the day.
    • Previous dates: The metrics are aggregated at the end of the day and can no longer change. View JSON and Download JSON are enabled if the table contains at least one record.
  • Usage Count: The number of times the action was performed on the selected date.
  • Usage Value: The measured value of the metric, if applicable to the feature. The column is blank for features that are counted only.
  • IUA Push Timestamp: The date and time of the last attempt to push the record to Infor User Analytics. The column is blank for the current date because running data is not pushed.
  • IUA Push Status: The result of the last push to Infor User Analytics. The value can be RUNNING, SUCCESS, or FAILED. RUNNING indicates that the record is already aggregated but not yet pushed. The column is blank for the current date and for previous dates that are not yet aggregated.
Note: Aggregation runs at 1 AM in the time zone of the region where the service is deployed. Between midnight and the completion of the aggregation and the push to Infor User Analytics, the records of the previous date are already displayed, but the IUA Push Status column can show RUNNING or be blank. The counts do not change when the status is updated.
