Simulating searches

The search simulator mirrors how customer and consumer users use Dynamic Search in the web shop. Selecting a user corresponds to the user logging in, and selecting a customer corresponds to changing the customer in the customer drop-down list.

In the Searchendizing section, click Search Simulator.
To ensure that search settings are updated, click Update Search Index.
Optionally, click Open in New Window to open the simulator in a separate browser window.
The original window remains available for navigating the rest of the Business Center, and each window operates independently.
In the User field, search for and select a user by name or email address.

User details such as Market, Catalog with the Catalog Tree, Warehouse Group and the warehouses inside it arranged by the priority, Assortment, and User Segment are displayed. The items that are visible to the selected users are also displayed.
If the selected user has more than one customer, select a customer from the Customer field. If the user only has one customer, the Customer field shows that customer and is a read-only field.
Specify a keyword or search phrase in the Quicksearch field and press Enter.

Search results are displayed along with relevancy scores of each item.
To change the number of results shown in the grid, select a value from the Rows Per Page drop-down.
