Synonym Search considerations

A synonym rule maps the relationship between related terms.
A synonym set is a collection of synonym rules.
Synonym set is set up on the tenant level. Customers under the same tenant will utilize the same synonym sets.
If you use multiple locales, create synonyms for each locale.
When defining terms in Synonym Search, ensure that the terms specified as synonyms are found in the item name and item description fields.
Publishing, enabling, and disabling processes may take some time to complete. You can only trigger one action at a time.
A synonym set can have a maximum of 10,000 synonym rules.
Active synonym set with published synonym rules for selected locale will influence the search results in the Dynamic Search on the webshop.
Banners are only visible to the administrator who did the action.
