Specifying locale settings for PIM

  1. Sign in to PIM as an administrator.
  2. In the dashboard, click Settings.
  3. To set up the language and locales in which you can enrich content, specify information in these fields:
    default.locale
    Specify the default language and locale for PIM, for example en-US. All attributes in PIM are enriched in the default locale.
    enabled.locales
    Specify all languages and locales that you use in PIM. Ensure that you also include the default language and locale. Use a comma to separate codes. The information modeler specifies the attributes that can be localized.
    locale.mapping
    Specify how to map language codes in the ERP to locale codes in PIM. Use this format: [ERP locale code]=[PIM locale code]. For example, specify FR=fr-CA. Use a comma to separate locale pairs, for example FR=fr-CA, EN=en-US.
