Adding child entity types

  1. On the dashboard, click Entity Types.
  2. If multiple accounting entities are available in PIM, ensure that you have selected the accounting entity that you want to use.
  3. Right-click the parent entity type and select Add. An entity type is added under the parent entity type.
  4. Specify this information:
    Entity Type Name
    Specify a name for the entity type.
    Description
    Specify a description.
  5. Add defined attributes that apply to the child entity type.

  6. Click Save. The Inherited section is populated with the attributes defined on the parent entity type.
