Creating recommendation types in Inriver PIM cloud

Use the Control Center to create the recommendation types to use in your web shop.

  1. Sign in to your tenant in the Inriver PIM Control Center.
  2. Select Model > Entity Type > Item.
  3. In the Includes section, click Add.
  4. Specify this information:
    Id
    Specify an ID for the recommendation type.
    Index
    Specify the order in which to display this link type on the Includes and Included In tabs. For example, to display this link type at the top of the Includes and included In tabs, specify 1.
    Source Entity Type
    To create recommendation types for items, specify Item. To create recommendation types for items, specify Product.
    Target Entity Type
    If you specified Item in the Source Entity Type field, specify Item in this field. If you specified Product in the Source Entity Type field, specify Product in this field.
    Link Entity Type
    Leave this field blank.
    Source Name
    For each language, specify the name to use for the recommendation type. This name is used on the Includes tab in Inriver PIM. It is also used when you show the recommendation in the web shop.
    Target Name
    For each language, specify the name to use for the recommendation type. This name is used on the Included tab in Inriver PIM.
  5. Click Save.
