Limitations

List of users the CSR can impersonate:
  • All customer and consumer users are displayed on the list. Users that have more than the Rhythm User role in Portal are disabled. The CSR can impersonate customer or consumer users of the tenant that only have Rhythm User as their Portal role.
  • Consumer users are not displayed on the list of users when the search filter is filtered using the Customer Name or Customer Number.
Impersonation Banner:
  • Toaster messages that are displayed when certain actions are performed can cover the impersonation banner. You can remove the toaster message by clicking the X icon on the right of the toaster message.
  • When the CSR clicks the Stop Impersonating link on the impersonation banner, they are immediately redirected to their own landing page. No confirmation message is asked when they click the link.

Devices:

  • As a CSR user, impersonating a user is not supported in devices. The Impersonate User under My Account is not available if accessed through a mobile or tablet.
  • When creating the page, set the URL as user-impersonation.
