How Rhythm for Commerce products communicate

These methods are used by the products in Rhythm for Commerce and the ERP to communicate with each other:

• Business Object Documents (BODs). BODs are used to send information between your ERP and Rhythm Commerce and between your ERP and a PIM system. BODs are used to load information, such as customer records and product records, from your ERP into Rhythm Commerce and PIM.
• Web services. Web services are used to retrieve pricing and available to promise information from your ERP in real time.
• Rhythm Commerce REST API. The Rhythm Commerce REST API is used to connect your website to Rhythm Commerce. The information that is displayed in widgets on your website is retrieved with the Rhythm Commerce REST API.
• API Gateway. The API Gateway is used to connect to Infor Document Management.
