Testing the template

You can send a test version of user-defined templates to any email address. If you use placeholder variables in the content, the variables are replaced with the values that were used the last time the template was sent.

You cannot send a test version of pre-designed templates.

  1. From the menu, click Notification Types. .
  2. On the card for the notification type that contains the template that you want to test, click Details.
  3. Click the card for the template that you want to test.
  4. Click Send Test Email.
  5. Specify the email address of the recipient. You can specify one email address.
  6. Click Send.
