Mapped attributes in the Business Center
When you set up mapped attributes in the Business Center, you can select only one PIM attribute ID for each mapped attribute. Therefore, ensure that you use the same PIM attribute ID for all entity types whose entities you intend to replicate to the Business Center. You can set the attribute up as a defined attribute or an inherited attribute.
For example, if you map the Brand property in the Business Center to the Brand_ID PIM attribute ID, then you should use Brand_ID as the attribute ID for brand information on all entity types.
Attribute | Description |
---|---|
Brand | The brand name of the item. |
Manufacturer | The company that makes the item. |
Description | A short description of the item. |
Long Description | A detailed description of the item. |
Name | The name of the item. |
Images | Images of the item. |
Product icons | Icons that indicate certifications or other characteristics that can be represented with an image. For example, an icon can indicate that the product contains recycled materials. |
After replication, you can review mapped attribute values for an item in the Item Details form in the Business Center. Attribute values for brand, manufacturer, description, name, and images are displayed. Attribute values for long description and product icons are not displayed in the Business Center.
In the web shop, mapped attribute information is displayed in the product-related widgets, such as the
