Deleting entity types

You can delete an entity type only if these conditions are true:
  • The entity type is not a parent to another entity type. To delete a parent entity type, you must first delete the child entity types.
  • The entity type is not used to define an entity. To delete an entity type that has been used to define entities, you must first delete the entities.
  1. On the dashboard, click Entity Types.
  2. If multiple accounting entities are available in PIM, ensure that you have selected the accounting entity that you want to use.
  3. Right-click the entity type and select Delete.
  4. In the confirmation dialog box, click Delete.
