Bulk deletion of attribute values

You can use the import/export module to delete multiple attribute values from entities simultaneously. For example, you can delete the value that is specified in the Color attribute for entities that share the Clothing top-level entity type.

You can delete attribute values from entities that share the same top-level entity type node. For example, if the top level entity type Type A has a child entity of Type B, and Type B has a child entity of Type C, you can use the same Excel file to delete attribute values from entities that are assigned to the Type A, Type B, and Type C entity types. When you import the Excel spreadsheet, you must select Type A in the import dialog.

To delete entities, complete these steps:
  1. Create an Excel file that lists the attribute IDs of entities to delete.
  2. Import the Excel file.
