Adding a Facebook Open Graph tag to the Product Details widget

Add a Facebook™ Open Graph tag to the Product Details page so that users can share information about your products on Facebook. After you configure the Product Details widget, the product image, name, and description are shared on Facebook when customer click the Facebook icon.

To use this feature, you must first create an app in Facebook for Developers. After you create the app, enable it and make a note of the app ID.

  1. Sign in to your website as a site editor.
  2. Navigate to the page that contains the Product Details widget.
  3. On the Product Details widget, select Options > Configuration.
  4. Specify this information:
    Select a Social Media type
    Select the FB check box.
    Facebook App ID
    Specify the ID of your Facebook app.
  5. Click SAVE.
