Reviewing the Consumer User role

When the Consumer User role is deployed to your environment, certain feature elements are enabled by default. Review the feature elements of the Consumer User role to ensure that consumer users have the capabilities you would like them to have. For example, you might enable or disable the Get Confirmed Delivery Dates feature element.

Do not enable the Self Registration feature element on the Consumer User role. This feature element should only be enabled for the Guest User role.

  1. In the Application Setup section of the Business Center, click Roles.
  2. Click Consumer User.
  3. Adjust the feature elements as necessary.
  4. Click Save.
