Setting up the sources of product information

Before you create content for products to display on your website, use tenant application properties in the Business Center to specify the source of item information. Contact an Infor representative to assist you.

This table shows the tenant application properties that control the display of product information:


Tenant Application Property	Description	Widgets Affected by the Application Property
PIM.Attribute Mapping	The application property contains this information: BRAND=, MANUFACTURER=, NAME=, DESCRIPTION=, LONG_DESCRIPTION=. If you use inriver PIM, specify PIM after the equals sign to use inriver PIM as the source of product information. Leave the space after the equals sign blank to use the ERP as the source. If you use Infor PIM, specify the attribute ID to use as the source of the information.	Product Compare Sticky Bar Product Details Product List Promotional Items Spare Parts Details Spare Parts List
Ordering.Display Item Name from ERP	Specify True to display the item name and description from the ERP. If you specify False, then one these names and descriptions are used: If you use customer item aliases, the customer identification number and description are used. If you do not use customer item aliases, then the values in the PIM.Attribute Mapping tenant application property determine the source of the item name and description.
