Creating promotions and campaigns in the Business Center

Use the Business Center to create a Featured Item promotion. Featured item promotions do not include takeaways, such as a discount or bonus item. Use the Featured Item promotion to highlight items on your website.

You can also create a Featured Item promotion in the ERP by setting the discount percentage for the item to zero.

  1. In the Business Center, select Promotions from the Shop section.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Internal Name
    Specify a name for the promotion.
    Type
    Select Featured Item.
  4. Click Create.
  5. In Promotion Details, use the Rules section to specify products to feature in the promotion. Specify this information:
    Type
    Specify Buy Item.
    Field
    Specify Item Number.
    Operator
    Specify =.
    Values
    Specify the item numbers of the items that are featured in the promotion. To specify more than one item, separate the item numbers with a comma.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Complete the details of the promotion. Specify text, images, and terms and conditions.
  8. Click Save.
  9. In the Shop section, click Campaigns.
  10. Create a new campaign, or select an existing campaign.
  11. Click the Promotions tab.
  12. Select the check box next to the promotion that you created.
  13. Click Add to add the promotion to the campaign.
  14. Click Save.
