CenPOS implementation tips and limitations

Note these implementation tips and limitations:
  • Support for the Business Center implementation of CenPOS will be discontinued in May 2022. Ensure that you implement the Payment CenPOS Portlet widget before May 2022.
  • Before the Business Center implementation is discontinued, you can use Business Center settings in conjunction with the Payment CenPOS Portlet widget settings.
  • Web shop users should not be eligible to use more than one CenPOS payment option.
    • You should not specify the same user segment on more than one Payment CenPOS Portlet widget.
    • If a user segment is specified on a Payment CenPOS Portlet widget, it should not also be specified on the CenPOS payment system code in the Business Center.
    • If a user is a member of more than one user segment, then ensure that only one of the user segments is specified either on a Payment CenPOS Portlet widget or the CenPOS payment system code in the Business Center. Alternatively, ensure that all of a user's segments are specified on a single instance of the Payment CenPOS Portlet widget or the CenPOS payment system code in the Business Center.
  • If you use Infor M3 as your ERP, then ensure that you meet these requirements:
    • The payment system code can contain up to 15 characters only.
    • On the CRS434 form, specify the payment system code in the 3rd Party ID field. Specify the credit card merchant ID from the Payment CenPOS Portlet widget in the Merchant ID field.
