Adding media in inriver PIM

  1. Sign in to inriver PIM.
  2. Select the product to which you are adding media.
  3. Click the Media tab.
  4. Click Upload Media.
  5. Locate the files to upload and click Open. You can upload more than one item. The size of each file cannot exceed 16 MB.
  6. Click the Includes tab.
  7. On the resource, click the menu and select Edit.
  8. In the General section, select the resource type:
    Option Description
    ItemImages These images are displayed in the Photo Gallery on the Product Details page.
    Documents These files are available on the Resources tab on the Product Details page.
    Videos Videos are available on the Resources tab on the Product Details page.
    Images Images are available on the Resources tab on the Product Details page.
    ItemDrawings Item drawings are used with products that have spare parts.
    SwatchImage Swatch images are used with style items. They are used to select the product images to view, such as images of product in a particular color or fabric.

    Swatch images should have a maximum size of 60 pixels by 60 pixels.
    BrandIcon Brand icons are displayed on the Product Details page.

    Brand icons have a fixed length of 128px.

    To display brand icons on your website, you must also enable the Items.Brand Icons application property in the Business Center. See "Setting tenant application properties" in the Infor Rhythm for Commerce Business Center Administration Guide or online help.
    ProductIcon Product icons are displayed on the Product List and Product Details pages. Use product icons to communicate information such as certifications or shipping methods.

    Product icons have a fixed length of 48px.

    To display product icons on your website, you must also enable the Items.Product Icons application property in the Business Center. See "Setting tenant application properties" in the Infor Rhythm for Commerce Business Center Administration Guide or online help.
  9. Specify this information:
    Icon text
    If you uploaded a product icon, specify a description of the product icon. The text that you specify is displayed in a modal dialog when a user clicks the icon on your website.
    Icon sequence
    If you uploaded a product or brand icon, specify the order in which the product icon is displayed on your website.
  10. If you uploaded a swatch image, then use the Is Default Style Option field to indicate whether this swatch option is selected by default on your website.
  11. Click Save.
