Creating the Favorites page and configuring the widget

  1. Sign in to Rhythm Portal as a site editor.
  2. Create a Favorites page.
  3. To add the Favorites widget to the page, complete these steps:
    1. On the Favorites page, click Add.
    2. Expand the Rhythm Commerce Widgets menu.
    3. Drag the Favorites widget to the page.
  4. Configure the widget:
    1. On the widget, select Options > Configuration.
    2. Specify this information:
      Select the Product Detail Page
      Specify the name of the Product Details page. This page opens when users click a product name or image.
      Select the Product List Page
      Specify the name of the Product List page. This page opens when users click the Go to Shop button. This button is displayed when there are no favorite products.
      Display Product Images
      To show thumbnail images of the products in favorites, turn on this switch.
      Display Item Description
      To show item description under item name, turn on this switch.
      Display Swatches
      If you have set up product swatches in inriver PIM, click Yes to show the swatch selector.
      Display Available to Promise
      Click Yes to show the date that out-of-stock items are anticipated to be available.
      Select the Spare Parts Page
      Specify the name of Spare Parts page. This page opens when users click the View Spare Parts button of a product.
      Select the Favorite Details Page
      Specify the name of Favorite Details page. This page opens when users click a favorite list name or image in the Lists tab.
      Stock Level Indicator
      Specify how to show the stock level of the product. Click one of these options:
      • None

        Select this option to hide stock level information.

      • Text

        Select this option to show a text indicator such as low, medium, and high. Specify the text strings to use in the Stock Level form in the Business Center.

      • Icon

        Select this option to show an icon in the quantity field. Specify stock levels in the Stock Level form in the Business Center.

      • Quantity

        Select this option to show the actual quantity in stock. Optionally, you can specify the maximum quantity to show in the Stock Value Upper Limit parameter on the Application Details form in the Business Center. If the in-stock quantity exceeds the upper limit, the upper limit is displayed with a Plus sign. For example, 500+.

      Display Key Attributes
      Select the Card check box to display key attributes for products in the card view. To display key attributes for products in the line view, select the Line check box.
      Batch Item Retrieval Size
      Use this configuration to specify the batch size. Item prices, stock levels, and ATP information are retrieved from the ERP by batches of items. Smaller batch sizes can improve performance. You can specify a whole number value between 1 and 24, inclusive. The default value is 6.
      Page Load Type
      Select the display option to use when the number of products exceeds the value that you specified in the Products to display per page configuration.
      • Pagination

        Select this option to show page numbers that the user can click to view more products.

      • Endless Scroll

        Select this option to show more products when the user scrolls to the bottom of the list of products.
